Trader Joe’s Linguine with Pesto & Tomatoes Review

Another failure

I like a lot of Trader Joe’s frozen pastas, but this one was a failure. The dish is pretty much what it sounds like: linguine with pesto and tomatoes – but the pesto just wasn’t very tasty, there wasn’t much of it, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. Adding Parmesan helped but not enough. I wouldn’t get it again

The best pasta I ever had. Yes, it might be a bit too much of pesto for me but I remove a few of frozen pieces and keep it for other pasta I make. Great pasta since it has no artificial ingrediences.

Don’t use cilantro it dominate’s the entire dish.
    Use a mild herb!

I’ve had this, and it’s pretty good.

Tip: the instructions tell you to mix the sauce and the pasta thoroughly (which you do with ANY pasta dish). You clearly didn’t do this. So instead of coating all the pasta with the pesto sauce, you got a bowl of plain pasta with some globs of pesto.

I’m sorry, but your bad experience is on you, not the product.

This dish is good but too much pesto and in the microwave 4 minutes is enough cooking. By adding 3 more minutes as recommended on package, the noodles get hard. Not sure why this is, perhaps its a good idea to add a little water. Might buy again. Not delicious just ok.
