I like to cook and I like to eat out, and the San Francisco Bay Area is a wonderful place to engage in both activities. We have restaurants here serving food from nearly the whole world (though there is a definitive lack of Argentine restaurants), and ethic grocery stores stocking all sorts of "exotic" ingredients, from pre-made berbere to frozen banana leaves (though, again, it is extremely difficult to find empanada shells).
In these pages, I will share with you some of my favorite recipes and my views on local restaurants. I will also introduce you to my different cooking "projects". I hope you enjoy your visit here.
