I love World Market – formerly Cost Plus. The chain sells a wide variety of food items from all over the world, though mostly from Europe and Asia. They also sell cook and serving ware, furniture, furnishings and a little bit of everything else, all imported. Sometimes, I can find there that rare item that I wasn’t able to find anywhere else – and sometimes I just come across something fun that I want to try. Not everything is a winner and, as World Market is not that close to my house, we don’t go often. Prices can be high, particularly in this post-Trump tariff times, but usually you can find something that you don’t feel too bad treating yourself with.
Here are my reviews of some of the items I tried from there.
- Finca Helechal Ibérico Sampler A
- Luscioux Pistachio Spreadable Cream B+
- Otafuku Okonomiyaki Japanese Savory Pancake Kit B+
- Universal Yums Germany snack sampler B-
