Italian-American food is awesome. A cuisine of immigrants, it was enhanced by
the availability of relatively cheap ingredients in America. It is, in that sense, a cuisine of excess - which illustrates, better than most, why Americans are so overweight as a people. But hey, if you are going to die of a
heart attack, do so happily.
I usually only cook a few meals from any cuisine, but it was difficult walking away from this one - literally everything I made was great.
