This is what I&#8217;ve got:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0600601048?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=marga-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=0600601048\">Ma Cuisine<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=marga-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0600601048\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> by Auguste Escoffier, the god of French haute cuisine.  <i>Ma Cuisine<\/i> is directed to the home cook and I&#8217;m fully intending on doing at least a couple of recipes from there.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0026125706?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=marga-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=0026125706\">LA Vera Cucina Italiana: The Fundamentals of Classic Italian Cooking<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=marga-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0026125706\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.  I&#8217;m actually planning to <i>read<\/i> this book in addition to cooking from it.<br \/>\nI was also supposed to get <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/076457602X?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=marga-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=076457602X\">The Cooking of Southwest France : Recipes from France&#8217;s Magnificent Rustic Cuisine<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=marga-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=076457602X\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> but the book seems to have been lost in the mail \ud83d\ude41<br \/>\nAnyway, I do have a fair number of cookbooks and I really should make a point of cooking a recipe from one cookbook (as opposed to epicurious) a week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last few days I&#8217;ve gotten a couple of new (for me) cookbooks through swaptree.com, a service which allows you to trade cookbooks online.
