I have a<br \/>\ncomment and some suggestions–<br \/>\nNick’s Family Restaurant is the only restaurant in<br \/>\ntown that serves home fries similar to what I have<br \/>\neaten at Full House Cafe or Mama’s Royal Cafe. They<br \/>\nalso have really good fresh fruit. I would suggest a<br \/>\nrevisit to try those two items. The others places in<br \/>\ntown serve hash brown potatoes (no thanks).<br \/>\nSuggestions: my favorite place to eat is Ernies<br \/>\nSeafood on E. 14th St. where it crosses San Leandro<br \/>\nBlvd. near the hospital. It is the pink building.<br \/>\nLots of great fish and seafood items. I especially<br \/>\nlike the half crab sandwich special with coles slaw<br \/>\nand shrimp salad. Lots of variations. They also<br \/>\nserve steak. You can eat in the front area in booths,<br \/>\nthe backroom where there is a televison which you can<br \/>\nignore or sit out on their deck which faces a side<br \/>\nstreet.<br \/>\nI also like the Imperial Garden on MacArthur<br \/>\nBlvd. I can request no salt, no soy sauce, no MSG, no<br \/>\nsugar, no cornstarch and cooked in a dry wok and I get<br \/>\nit that way.<br \/>\nThere is also a Vietnamese restaurant at the end<br \/>\nof Merced St. in a shopping center that serves very<br \/>\nnice fresh spring rolls and a fish soup. I request<br \/>\ncertain things be left out of the soup and they serve<br \/>\nit that way. I have to go back again to get the name<br \/>\nof the place.
