{"id":314,"date":"2006-07-12T00:22:56","date_gmt":"2006-07-12T00:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/?p=314"},"modified":"2006-07-12T00:22:56","modified_gmt":"2006-07-12T00:22:56","slug":"restaurant-reviews-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/2006\/07\/restaurant-reviews-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"Restaurant Reviews Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again I&#8217;m putting a bunch of restaurant reviews up:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/ceraunavolta.html\">C&#8217;era una Volta<\/a> has pleasant, friendly service, but an unexciting brunch in Alameda.<br \/>\nIn San Leandro:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/torito.html\">El Torito<\/a> offers mediocre chain restaurant food and a less than spectacular views at its Marina location.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/titos.html\">Tito&#8217;s<\/a> offers competent Tex-Mex food in an interesting atmosphere.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/taqueria.html\">Taqueria<\/a> is the fourth taqueria to open within walking distance of my house (and the sixth Mexican restaurant!).  We didn&#8217;t need it and it doesn&#8217;t do a particularly good job at it &#8211; but as it&#8217;s always empty, it&#8217;s a good place to go with the kids.<br \/>\nAnd after many visits during this world cup, I updated my review of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/englander.html\">The Englander<\/a><br \/>\nand in San Francisco:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/gardencourt.html\">The Garden Court at the Palace Hotel<\/a> has the most beautiful and impressive room in town and a delicious tea service &#8211; too bad that the service is rushed and dedicated to getting you out of there <i>fast<\/i>.<br \/>\nBTW, I&#8217;ve now made a special page for all the tea rooms I review: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/tea.html\">http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/rest\/tea.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once again I&#8217;m putting a bunch of restaurant reviews up: C&#8217;era una Volta has pleasant, friendly service, but an unexciting brunch in Alameda.
