{"id":1700,"date":"2018-05-13T12:58:09","date_gmt":"2018-05-13T04:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/?p=1700"},"modified":"2018-05-13T12:58:09","modified_gmt":"2018-05-13T04:58:09","slug":"intl-food-project-update-campechana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/2018\/05\/intl-food-project-update-campechana\/","title":{"rendered":"Int&#8217;l Food Project Update: Campechana,"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1701 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0520-e1526187479891-1024x499.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0520-e1526187479891-1024x499.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0520-e1526187479891-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0520-e1526187479891-768x374.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0520-e1526187479891.jpg 1490w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><br \/>\nMy international food project is going.\u00a0 Slowly, even painfully so, but going.\u00a0 I&#8217;m a bit behind on updating the website, but here are three cuisines that I finished some months ago but never got around to adding.\u00a0\u00a0 Two of these were &#8220;make up&#8221; cuisines, those that I skipped when I first reached them &#8211; either because I couldn&#8217;t find recipes or didn&#8217;t recognize them as cuisines.\u00a0 Rather than making multiple dishes for each one of them, which would keep me from advancing through the alphabet, I decided to cook just one or two dishes.\u00a0 This is what I made:<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/int\/assam\/\"><strong>Assam<\/strong><\/a>, I made <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/int\/assam\/fish.html\">fried fish with rice<\/a>, a very simple dish and yet one I couldn&#8217;t stop eating.<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/int\/campeche\/\"><strong>Campeche<\/strong><\/a>, I made <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/food\/int\/campeche\/pampano.html\">fish in a green sauce<\/a>.\u00a0 Alas, I didn&#8217;t use the right fish and it disintegrated.\u00a0 But the sauce was great.<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m very happy to announce that I&#8217;ve started the &#8220;H&#8221; cuisines.\u00a0 I am totally committed to even finish H before the end of the summer!
