{"id":1577,"date":"2015-01-24T02:29:30","date_gmt":"2015-01-23T18:29:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/?p=1577"},"modified":"2015-01-24T02:29:30","modified_gmt":"2015-01-23T18:29:30","slug":"restaurant-review-grotto-at-the-golden-nugget-las-vegas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marga.org\/foodblog\/2015\/01\/restaurant-review-grotto-at-the-golden-nugget-las-vegas\/","title":{"rendered":"Restaurant Review: Grotto at the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We stayed at the <a href=\"http:\/\/marga.voxpublica.org\/2014\/08\/golden-nugget-las-vegas-hotel-review\/\">Golden Nugget<\/a> our last night in Vegas in August 2014, and we were too tired to leave the hotel to go have dinner.\u00a0 Of the several restaurants at the hotel, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldennugget.com\/LasVegas\/eat_grotto.asp\">Grotto<\/a><\/strong> seemed to be the best choice in terms of cost and reviews.\u00a0 Indeed, we had a fairly good meal. It&#8217;s overpriced, but it could have been worse.<\/p>\n<p>Grotto is divided into two sections.\u00a0 The main section occupies a large, semi-open space near the front desk.\u00a0 The second section is across the pathway that leads to the casino, by the pool and has views of the pool area.\u00a0 We ate in the main dining room, which is kept somewhat dark.
