Egyptian Yogurt Sauce
Zabadi is the Egyptian version of the Greek tzatziki, though its main ingredient is not cucumber (which is totally optional) but fresh mint. You can use it to accompany grilled meats or eat it with pita bread.
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain
- 1" peeled cucumber, chopped (optional)
- 2 - 4 Tbsp. mint, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- salt to taste
Mix all ingredients together.
