Ground Chicken Kebabs

I've never had these ground chicken kebabs before so I'm not sure how they are supposed to taste. Hopefully not like what I made when following this recipe. The kebabs were pretty tasteless, except for the overwhelming taste of the cilantro. They were also difficult to shape, without bread to absorb moisture they were too liquid and did not stay together well in the skewers. I halved the original recipe and I'm quite happy about that as most of the kebabs went to waste.

Reshmi Kabab


  • 1 lb. ground chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 1" ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. cummin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste


    Grind the chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, cilantro, chummin, white pepper and garam masala together. Add the egg and salt and mix well. Shape into sausages, put on skewers and grill until done.
