Margarita's Favorite Recipes


-2 cups of rice (I prefer to use basmati)
-2 to 4 cups of chicken stock (depending of the type of rice you use)
-1 onion, finely chopped
-1 or 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
-1 tsp. paprika
-1 tsp. oregano
-salt to taste
-2 red peppers, sliced
-saffron, depending on the quality, from .05 grams to .5 grams

Fry the chopped onions on the oil until golden. Add garlic. Add the rice and 
cook for a couple of minutes. Add the chicken stock, paprika, oregano, 
salt and red peppers. Mix the saffron with a little bit of hot chicken 
stock and add to the rice. Mix well. Cook until the rice is ready. Top 
with chicken, sausage, meat, clams, shrimp, scallops, or whatever you like.
